The Disaster pokémon darts off into the thicket, but what it returns with is not what the red-head had hoped for. A Blipbug squirms within the Absol's mouth, struggling violently to get out. It's released from its be-drooled prison, and given a few moments, calms down enough for Yvaine to regard the little bug-type.

After checking that it's alright, and taking note of a few peculiarities now she has it up-close, Yvaine lets the little tyke go off again, much to her Absol's chagrin. "It's alright, we'll go looking for a new one soon." she shushes the beast, patting its head.

When the black and white fur appears from the thicket Yvaine just smiles.

"Now that's a mighty specimen... see, told you we'd encounter a proper challenge for you." she nudges her Absol, who takes its position right in front of her, facing down with the Obstagoon.

This time Yvaine doesn't speak, letting her Absol take charge for this battle. Solely its instincts will prevail, and she will let it, only stepping in when things would go awry. The Obstagoon seems willing to fight the bronze-horned Absol and crosses its arms, preparing to counter the attack.

A taunt makes it waver, and when it falls for it the Absol moves in with a Night Slash, much like the Obstagoon. They clash, dark type vs dark type, but the Absol gains the upperhand and pushes it back. As it staggers Yvaine moves in, throwing a pokéball to catch it.
